We4U team organized a blanket drive in St James Park in San Jose. More than 200+ blankets were distributed to the homeless people.

December 2018 - Camp Fire

The Camp Fire was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California. Multiple fires raged throughout California, forced evacuations and left a destructive path in Butte County. We4U donated non-perishable food items from food drives held at community centers and monetary donations from its GoFundMe campaign to the Oroville Hope Center, Oroville, CA.

September 2018 - Kerala Flood

Severe floods affected the South Indian state of Kerala, due to unusually high rainfall during the monsoon season. It was the worst flooding in Kerala in nearly a century, declared a Level 3 Calamity. Over 483 people died, at least a million people were evacuated.  All 14 districts of the state were placed on red alert. We4U held a fundraising event at the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, Newark, CA and donated the raised contributions to the Malayalee Association of Northern California, "MANCA"

 

July 2018 - Carr Fire

The Carr Fire affected almost 125,000 acres and 1500 structures in Shasta County. We4U donated the collected monetary donations from its GoFundMe campaign to the Shasta Regional Community Foundation (SRCF),  a non-profit organization at Redding, CA. 

 

October 2017 - Santa Rosa Fire

The northern California wildfires that affected Santa Rosa and Napa Valey impacted thousands of families who lost their homes due to the devastating catastrophe. We4U raised non-perishable food items including canned goods collected by walking door-to-door around local communities and also donated monetary contributions raised from its GoFundMe campaign to the Redwood Empire Food Bank, a non-profit organization, Santa Rosa, CA.
