Update on Kincade Fire
As of November 3rd, 2019, firefighters in the Sonoma area have reported that the Kincade Fire has successfully been contained. The fire had impacted almost 400 structures including 175 homes and other commercial buildings and nearly 200,000 were forced to evacuated. Fortunately, the efforts of firefighters from Cal Fire have stopped the spread of the fire and have issued a 100% containment alert of the Kincade Fire.
While the fire has been contained, many victims are still greatly affected by the fire's impact. Residents do not have proper access to food, water, clothes and other basic necessities and are still trying to come back to their homes. Many are still affected by the powerline loss and are affected by the burnt remnants of their previous lives. We must ensure that those affected receive the necessary support for them to restore their living standards and rebuild from their unfortunate conditions.
